Arena Group provides a variety of advisory services to its clients and portfolio companies. When constructing these arrangements, Arena seeks to customize the service being provided to flexibly support whatever the entrepreneur thinks is most valuable to the company.

Mergers and Acquisitions. The Arena principals have advised in over $3 billion in M&A transactions. Entrepreneurs draw on our direct transaction experience to assist them in evaluating strategic alternatives and in executing a successful sale. Successful M&A engagements require an in-depth understanding of how to best market and position the company, which buyers to approach and how, and finally, how to structure a transaction that reaches a satisfying and timely closing.

Business Development. The Arena principals have extensive experience - as operators and as advisors – in planning and executing commercial relationships that build company value. Entrepreneurs engage Arena to assist in conceiving and driving to successful closure business development relationships such as OEM agreements, channel marketing arrangements, and strategic co-development initiatives.

Transition Leadership. By virtue of our executive operating experience in early-stage companies, Arena principals are occasionally asked to serve in operating roles such as non-executive chairman, interim CEO, and part-time CFO. In every case, these situations develop at the request of the entrepreneur, who sees the value in augmenting his/her existing team at a critical time in the company’s development.
